WHAT WE DO

Established in 2006, Cape Boat Charters is an environmentally sensitive and professional charter operator located in Simonstown, False Bay. 

Our goal is to ensure a safe and unique experience at sea for all our guests! Business owner and Skipper Alan Blacklaws, is a registered tour-guide, who is qualified in First Aid and has over 20 years of sea-going experience. 

 We strongly encourage the practice of "catch and release" and try our best to be Eco-friendly in all aspects of our operation! Our perfect location allows for quick and easy access to some of the most pristine fishing grounds in the world!

We are lucky enough to be able to target a variety of Pelagic Game Fish on our trips, which include: Yellow Fin Tuna, Long Fin Tuna, Katonkel, Yellowtail and Cape Snoek. Other larger game fish caught out here include the occasional Marlin, Dorado, Big-Eye Tuna as well as the Southern Atlantic Bluefin Tuna. Inside the shelter of False Bay, we also catch Mackerel and other reef fish.

We also offer Scenic Eco Charters around the famous Cape Point, as well as Pelagic Bird Watching Charters for the birding enthusiasts! On these trips you can expect to see whales, dolphins, seals and much more!
